I know its a bit long but I I've been posting a bit and I feel I should say hello to everyone. I am a somewhat well known poster on the nissanforums http://www.nissanforums.com/ well, at least I hope ppl know me (gettin close to 300 posts) but you know how turnover go's with forums as I see you guys say you have the same thing here... I am a nissan enthusiast (Nissan Nazi) and I also have enjoyed making model cars. I have made some models throughout my life (i'm 24) but never really became seriously interested till about '99. I really started to get into imports at an age when it isn' feasable to have the cars you dream of, so I looked for an outlet and found modeling.....I bought a couple of tamiya kits I saw at the hobby shop (raybrig NSX and SARD supra) and couldn't believe I had found models of my favorite kind of cars with bodykits and rims and all the go fast ish especially when I went in there hoping to find at least one bone stock model of a car I was interested in (that was my outlet.. I was thinkin, maybe they have models of the cars I like and I can supe them up and stuff) . woulda got a skyline but they didn't have one. anyways... hi, I plan to post a bit, I promise to be nice, and I don't have a digital camera but I have friends that will let me snap some shots and I will post pics for you, I know I love seeing your pics so I shall reciprocate. I am not a very skilled modeler, but this forum has already started to change that. Thanks for that, you guys are very talented... its a gift truly, and it doesn't come that easy to everyone so thanks for the tips. :D :D

wow, hello to all of you and thanks for such a warm welcome.

A lot of nissan fans here, can't beat that. Heck, can't beat much of anything when it comes to Nissan! :sun:

I built the Supra and NSX years ago... sorry if my post rambled a bit..

I will post some pics soon, I plan to tear the supra apart and rebuild it differently but want some pics of its current state before I do. I just ordered a Skyline R32 and a civic 2in1 tuner series by revell today. had to order both from my local hobby shop. she said the R32 was only $18, great price for a tamiya model. I also picked up a styrine sheet to make intercoolers with.

My plan of action is to order a S15 Silvia model, cut the hood out so I can do an engine bay, swap the RB26 thats coming with my skyline model into the silvia. Just thought you guys might like to know that. Like I said I'm no pro but it will be fun and should turn out pretty cool. Any suggestions on a S15 Silvia kit would be much appreciated. Which one do you think would be the best to make a custom engine bay out of???
