does anyone know anything about the hondata sytem? does your ecu have to be obd1 as iv heard in order to use it? also, is it possible to make a 95 gsr ecu fit my 91 civc si harness? anyone who knows alot or has used the hondata tuner please help.

most of the work hondata does is on obd1 ecu's...I think the only obd0 ecu's they do anything for are the pr3 and pw0 ... what engine are you trying to run? it is possible to use an obd1 ecu if you either rewire your system or get a obd0-obd1 adapter harness..... if you want an ecu tuner and want to stick with obd0, look at zdyne...their gold ecu is fully programmable..

..gsr ecu isn't gonna run your zc right...fuel maps and timing are all different...plus the maps are all for a vtec engine... if you really wanna try something different... maybe try a 90-91 ls ecu...? or get the pm7 and run your zc right :)

no...the 90-91's used b18s and the 88-89's use d16s...
the pm7 is the actual ecu for the 88-91 jdm civic/crx si..which had the zc in it.

the GSR ECU also has controls for the dual butterfly intake. Im not sure if it has any sensors associated with it, but i think that since you dont have the GSR intake manifold, it would throw a code. AND i KNOW that it will throw a code for vtec selenoid and vtec pressure switch.
