1990 Mazda B2200 2.2l

I just bought a 1990 mazda b2200 and every time i crank it the engine revs to 4500rpm and does not stop reving. What could be the problem?
I've checked everything i know. i had to install the carb myself and was not sure of how the vaccum lines were to go. does anyone have a diagram on could take a picture?
