What is this?

A couple of weekends ago, I was on my way to my friends house in St. Pete. As I was comming down the Skyway bridge, I saw this weird looking "concept" car going down the road. I happened to have my digi cam with me, and got up next to it and snapped a couple of pics of it.

It looks like a futureistic Corvette. Tell me what you think this is. This is the first time I have ever seen this car before... for all I know, this car might have been out for a long time, and I just never seen one before. Just thought that I would show you guys. :D

i was thinking... it might be just a custom body for a corvette.
