They did, and I want to know more. I have heard 13:1 compression, 160+hp, and 2000lb curb weight. But I need to know more!!

Yep there was a GT, though not as good as Chris has heard...
9.1:1 compression, 125HP and I think 12*ft/lbs. 1.8L DOHC (BP motor). Now the protege gtx or gtr motors (BPT motors... same block etc, but with a turbo) will drop in quite easily from what I understand... ~180HP and ~210HP respectively. Oh and the weight is somewhere around 2400lbs I believe...
