I currently own a 1988 S-10 2.8L V6 with 175,000 miles on it. While I love this little truck to death the engine is showing its age along with its poor performance. Now I have been researching the net and it seems that a popular engine for performance and reliability converison is a LT1 Corvette engine. I must admit I lack the skills overall to successfully under take this converison and was wondering if any one knows of any engine converisons shops in Georgia or north Florida that are trust worthy and know what they doing enough to do the converison?
The only shop near me that I have found that seems to have any experience is http://www.leeshightechtrucks.com . Anyone have any general sugguestions.
thanks,
Newbie
