Any new rumours ?

Any rumours out there about Tamiya's future releases ?!?
Personally id like to see an audi A4 or A6 Quattro. Tamiyas current Audi's are all way too old fashioned.

I just ordered the 206 Winners Version today so I can have one when they ship. And I just got my Ford Focus RS Perf. Blue!!! Tose are the two newest releases.

I would really like to see some more LeMans cars and a TRD Celica. That WOULD OWN!!!

I think Tamiya have announced a Rally(WRC) mechanic crew at the Shizuoka Hobby Show, maybe we'll get an updated F1 crew also. :)

Ummm... there was a rumor about fujimi making the F&F RX-7. It would'nt be too hard, they already have an RX-7 with a veilside body kit on it and they make the andrew racing wheels, all they have to do is include some F&F RX-7 decals an they have a brand new kit :D

Thinking back, last year at the Tamiya/Con, they had stuff displayed as new from the Nurburg Toy Fair. When is/was that show? This year, everything they displayed as 'new' had already been released and was available in the sale tent...

It hasn't happened yet, but if you tranlate the Japanese Tamiya site you will see it if you click on the Shizuoka Show banner.

I thought Nuremberg had been and gone? Shizuoka is the next biggie so there is bound to be a few new releases.

I'm betting on an RX-8 as the next car release from Tamiya.

My guess (and Mika's - giving credit): RX8, New Impreza. Now the third one ... perhaps they'll release two Imprezas - road and rally?

I'd really like to see a Ferrari 575M from Tamiya. It'd fit in perfectly with the Enzo and 360's.

Yeah, tell me about it. The Maranello has been completely ignored except for Maisto and Bburago. I thought with Tamiya's renewel of the Ferrari license and the subsequent debut of the upgraded 575M that Tamiya would have viewed it as a "new" Ferrari and kitted it. :( :crying:

I'm sure Tamiya must be thinking about it. I mean they've made alot of Ferrari's over recent times, and at the moment, they have both versions of the 360, and the Enzo. Fitting the 575M into there seems like a totally logical thing to do.

Good point! Where is this news on the rally crew?

The Impreza could be likely candidates, i wouldn't be too surprised if they did the new NSX but i think they would have done this already if they were going to.
