Okay,
I got the big idea, to dust out my PS2, and i sucessfully took it apart, and put it back together. But little did i know, when i tried to turn it on, it would not turn on at all anymore. I checked it, all the wires are in place and everything. So, in order for me to play tony hawk 3 on wednesday, I gotta ethier call wal mart and swap it tommorrow, or buy a new one on wednesday.
:(
I'm sad now.

Oh, man!
I've taked the PSX apart many times. (It's fun to play with the disc exposed) Did you break any warranty-voiding seals in the process?

I heard somewhere that PS2 was designed to fail if you tried to modify it. I don't know if there is any truth to this rumor though.

It would not read ANY dvd movies, ANY PS1 games, and HALF my PS2 games, does that give you a good enough reason? BTW, my friend fixed it, and well, I have 2 PS2's now, so eh, I might sell it, so i can get a few Xbox games.:D
