HELP PLEASE: Sanding primer??

Hey guys I'm pretty new to modelling and this is my second time spray painting. I was just priming my Fujimi Evo body and without noticing, sprayed over a small hair on the rear quarter panel!! The primer spray I was using is the Tamiya white (fine) spray.
Am I able to give the body a light wet-sand (is 1200 grit ok?) to try and get the hair out?
If so, once the hair is out and I haven't sanded too hard can I leave the primer for 10 days then spray the main colour or do I have to prime over what I've just sanded?

In simple terms; if I prime (tamiya(white)) a car and it gets orange peel and I lightly wet-sand it with (1200 grit?) do I have to give it another coat of primer or can I just leave it for 10 days and then paint the main colour?
Also is the primer coat meant to be perfectly smooth or doesn't it matter if its got slight orange peel, if it has do you need to sand it or won't it matter?
Do I need finer sandpaper or is 1200 grit (wet-sanded) fine?

1200 should do it but be carefull whenever doing any sanding.:)

If you choose to wet sand the orange peel (called colorsanding) you absolutely need to be careful. Once you use 1200 grit CAREFULLY you should use 2000/2500 grit CAREFULLY as a polishing effect. Although if the orange peel is over a large area it may be advantageous to color sand and apply another coat or even 2 coats for an even finish. By the way Tonio, sweet ride. Thanks for the help guys. So why should I sand carefully u mean so it wont scratch the primer too much?
Should I use a finer grit sand paper? I thought if you wet sand it its better because the water acts as a slight lubricant to make the sanding finer........is this true?

What about getting the hair out?
So If I get the hair out by lightly sanding the primer without going right through it, do i still have to prime afterwards or can I let it set and then paint the main colour later?

Wetsanding is highly recommended to get the hair out; you want to be careful because you could use too much pressure and sand through the primer down to the bare plastic.:)

So let me get it right. If I wet sand it and I mistakenly go through the primer then I have to respray with primer again. And if I don't go through the primer I don't need to spray anymore primer on, I just leave it and paint colour on in 20 days time. Am I right??

1200 will be fine if you very lightly sand
