You want to spend lots of money buying Tamiya paint.......;)
You won't know until you try it, I prefer Tamiya paint myself, but if you are in America and prefer enamels, for most part you are stuck with Testors.

search for a dealer near you. I had to drive an hour to find a LITTLE shop that sold tamiya sprays.
You can also spruce up your enamel spray skills with testors. Yes, they are harder to work with, but can be equally pleasing as synthetic lacquers.

No, No, No, i dont mean spray paint, i use Dupont automotive paint from work in my airbrush for that. I'm talking about brush on paints. No hobby shops around me sell tamiya brush on paints!

IMO you'd be better off getting Testors enamels to brush paint with, works a lot better. Only problem would be matching the Tamiya paint colors to Testors.

I have used Testors for along time, but the first time I tried Tamiya paints for brushing I decided to slowly replace my testors paints with Tamiya's. I still prefer some testor spray paints over tamiya's, but all my base paints from now on will be tamiya.

Silver, Gold and metalic color are better from Testor (for handbrushing)
My handbrushing bottles are about 40 Testor, 6 Tamiya.
But spraypaint, I don't tutch Testor anymore beside the clear coat.
