Quick Build: Subaru STi Street/Track Rat

The Evo tends to get tiresome, so I needed a quick little build out of the box. Sadly, I am more confused building a model using the parts in the box instead of making my own. Even more sad, I'm serious. Yesterday I went to a friends to watch the 12hrs of Sebring while working on models. I started working on this and made decent progress, I'm happy with the way things are going so far. The kit used is a Tamiya WRC kit, converted to a "street" and weekend track car.

Looks great so far, even in that "I'm not trying hard enough" flat black paint and "I'm trying too hard" neon yellow :icon16:

Actually, I like the combo. WTF do I know? :screwy::uhoh::eek7::tongue:

Looks like a good distraction from the crazy EVO that you're doing. Good luck with this one!

That color combo is awesome. What you do as a quick build is better than what most people(Me) do as a long project. I need to learn how some of you are taking your pictures because they turn out beautiful. I just bought a Nikon D5000 about 3 days ago and still dont really know how to use it, especially for scale items. I understand I need a macro lense but just can't afford that on top of the $800 for the camera...sorry to get off subject of your build, but you pictures are just amazing

Looking forward to seeing this progress. I've always liked seeing Subaru WRC's converted to street...they look so good.
