1995 Vision - Headlight Assembly?

1995 Vision-
After an encounter with a deer, the car is in need of a driver-side headlight assembly. The headlight mounts to a plastic mounting bracket, which is completely shattered and unusable.
At a local salvage yard, I have found a replacement mounting bracket on a 1996 that will work, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove it without taking off the entire front facia and bumper to access the two lower bolts.
Anybody know how I can go about this? I was thinking about just cutting the plastic above the lower bolts, and then mounting it by using just the top two. But, I'd really hate to have to do that. Thoughts?
