92 gt secondary ignition problems

in the start position my fuel pump comes on and there is power to the motor, car will start, but as soon as the key is turned back to the run position the car gets no power and shuts off.. primary works, secondary does not. i used a test light on the ignition and there is power in all the wires in start and run position. so i am guessing the problem is else ware.. can any one help?????
