what would have to be done to put a LS1 with 6 speed in a 1993 firebird are any yera to 96 plez tell me all that would have to be done to do this swap

Well... depends.
Is the 93 Firebird a V8 car? If its a T/A it should have a 6speed* in it just like its Z28 counterpart. In that case i'd guess the only thing you'd have to do is swap in the LS1 motor w/ the computer and harnesses.
If its a V6 car... than you'll have to change the motor mounts, and take out the 5spd and most likely change the transmission mounting brackets.
If the donor car is an automatic, than obviously the tranny has to come out and you have to buy the clutch pedal and clutch assembly.
It shouldnt be too hard... but theres a lot of variables to take into account.
*I could be wrong, but I think the Z28 and T/A cars came with a 5speed as base and the 6speed was an option. Not positive on that.

Nah, I think the only 5-speeds in the 4th Gens were in sixers. All LS1's and LT1's that I know of are 6-speeds. They needed to be that way with the two top gears as overdrives to meet emissions regulations...
