Im just watching a BBC report, filed by a reporter at a Northern alliance command post on the frount line, close to the village that was supposed to have been bombed by the US killing lots of civilians.
Well it sounds like Taliban proroganda.
The reporter interviewed the commander, and the Village lies between the frount lines, and although it was bombed by the USAF, it contained Taliban troops, who were the only ones injured and killed.
The bombing was precise and on target.
Now if only they could stop bombing the UN!

Well the problem is the US has bombed the wrong targets a couple of times now, (one of them Twice!! how fucking stupid is that) so it would be very easy for the Taliban to make up stories, or to put innocnet people in a building that is also a taliban installation, then when the US bombs it they can claim the US bombed innocent civilians.
Its something theres nothing the US can really do about it.

I really hate the BBC. Buts thats for their licence fee and shit programmes. The news is OK.
I really think they are showing too much of the civilian deaths. This is going to end up like Vietnam if we keep going like this. The public will end up being against the war and it will be unwinnable.
Modern bombs are smart, but misses are inevitable. They have used something like 4000 since this all began, if civilians weren't killed then it would be a miracle. The Taliban place their military installations too close to civilians. They are even moving closer and closer to cause even more innocent lives to be lost.
During WW2 a bombing raid was considered a success if the bombs fell withing something like 1000ft of their target (maybe further). By comparison todays weapons are very accurate, but there will always be misses.

i heard the taliban was going to poison the food packages we're giving them, and blame it on the U.S.
I think the info was from an insider, a guy working for the U.S. that is in Al-Quada (sp)

I haven't watched the last series of Top Gear as I tired of its ignorant presenters. But yesterday on an unrelated show I heard the most ignorant presenter of them all (Jason Barlow I believe is his name) say that the rumors aren't true and Top Gear will be back. Personally I never heard the rumors.
