Broke into car, WHY??

It finally happened, someone broke the back left side window on my civic coupe and stole...............my shift knob!?!? It doesnt make sense, My hood was popped, and it looked like they pulled the wire from my RSM to see how it was wired, but they didnt take it. Also, my passanger seat was flat all the way back. Does this sound like anything?

It sounds like some kids did it. They took the shift knob to show their friends.

I dont know, but its got me paranoid, I woke up like 20 times the next night for every little sound. I have a feeling if it wasnt what you suggested, its someone who wants to come back for stuff. What would you guys do if you caught the perpetrators?

Probably hurt them as badly as I could.

they are on your property so you can shoot them, but i wouldnt just beat the fuck out of the person

my deck got stolen 2 weeks after i put it in......if they came back i would shoot them in the leg so they cant run then beat the shit out of them...then i would have theyre asses hauled of to jail so they can get ass raped every night

my car has been broken into twice ..... you feel violated - it's hard to explain

i dont know what country you live in, but you cant just shoot someone because they are on your property. that is called assult with a deadly weapon. they might go to jail, but so would you. so just beat the crap out of them.

I dont know what I would do if the situation occured but I don't want revenge taken after I did something to them. For that fact my desire is to shoot them directly in the head with no warning. I don't see why that is a problem though. A "person" is breaking into your car, the "person" must be evil, evil should be destroyed. I could never think of breaking into someones car. Thats why someone might end up instantly dead if they try something again. It's messed up that I would go to jail.

You should drag the person into your house and say they were breaking into it. That way you have the right to shoot them in the face. Just make sure they stay in the house.:eshooter:

my bro had a cituation where all his cd's were stolen from his car......the ironic part was that he stayed across from a really bad area (ie; durg dealers, shootings, fights........) so you'd think one of them broke into his car and stole them........he told me it got stolen when he was parked at his girlfriends house.....an upper middle class neighborhood:rolleyes:

tho most people would think cause it is a bad neighbor hood they have no respect, mostly in those neighbor hoods there is alot of respect for peoples things. In the rich neighbor hood it was probally some rich spoiled teenager lookin for something to do

or the poor folks come over to the richer side of town to jack their stuff ..... ain't much good, stealing stuff not worth stealing

i feel safer with mny car parked in the ghetto. everyone minds their own buisness there and only jacks things from rich people

Now that you mention it, they just built some expensive houses in the back of my dirty complex. Ever since then, there's been a lot of theiving and break-ins going on. Man if I catch some geek-ass rich kid doing something...

In texas all you have to do is give "fair warning" before you open fire. I've been told by cops to drag them back on your property if they manage to make their way off. That way there's no question.
