Prelude Damned "Brake Lamp" warning

Hi,

I have a problem with my 92 import 2.2vtec lude.
The "Brake Lamp" warning light is always on. The car does not have ABS and there are no probs with the brakes (just had new EBC drilled & grooved discs and green stuff pads).

There is a light in the rear roof that does not work and I suspect that is what is causing it. I've tried replacing the bulbs but to be honest I dont want it to work anyway.

Anyone know how to make the system recognise that the roof light is either not there or fool it into thinking its fine?

get a new lightbulb for the cyclops/lizzy light. it's illegal to run without one.

if that doesnt fix it, check your brake fluid level.

my factory 3rd brake light doesn't work either, and that's what turns my light on...

sometimes it will work, but once i hit the brakes and the light doesn't come on, the brake warning light comes on...
put a new bulb in, or take the dead one out, that should kill it too.

it's not illegal to run w/o a 3rd brake light.
