Help With Engine Swap

I am about to undertake a transplant of a 4.6 DOHC and a AOD out of a 93 Lincoln Mark VIII into a 86 mustang Coupe. I would like to know if anyone knows of a place where I can find out what motor mounts, Headders, I need to use to do the swap. Of corse there is always the the do it yourself thing but there must be someone out there that has done the swap or has heard of it being done who can give me some help. Just want this to go a smooth as possable.
Any help would be greatly apprecheated.

I have no idea why you would want to do this. But ti's a bad idea and youir asking for mega trouble. Why are there lot's of 429/460 swaps for Foxes but not many FE aka 427,428,429 swaps? Look at the engine dimensions and the answer shall be found.

Where did the FE BBF thing come from? My deal is if the 4.6 DOHC will fit in a 99, why not a 86. As to why? Because I am one that does not like to run in the main streem and have the same thing that everyone else has. I figure with a new set of cams, reworked AOD tranny w/ stall and OD bypass, a 9 in w/3.70:1, a spool and a decent set of tires in a 2500lb car should run in the 11s and be very low maintenace. I have made SBFs go very fast in semi heavy cars. Now it is time for me to go light and different with a MOD engine. I think that if you can put a 460 in a 86 why not a 4.6????????????? and just think of the gas milage. maybe 20-22 vrs 8-10 with a 460. and I really do not like big blocks they take to long to wind up and tend to over hp the tires in a light car. Dont want to spend a fortune on suspension mods. I think it will work. just need some info
