I was thinking about putting a sub and an amp in my 1992 firebird...I have t-tops and when i take them off i store them in the trunk...i was wondering if putting the sub below the t-top bag would crack the t-tops? If anyone has experienced this or knows if it is safe let me know...thanx

DUe i wish i could help you.. my is a gen 4 and i put a nice 10 inch IN the T Top storage.. i can remove it and since the bottome of the box is edged in velcrow i can put it dead center on the flipped back seat and still store my t-top though i can't thrash it around as much but T-tops off is cruising mode for me

You should look intomounting the sub or sub box to the back of your seat.. rear seat i've seen some nice set ups and you can put your seat down and it looks cherryor put it up and hide it

sorry but look around there are alot of guys on Ls1 .com in the Audio scetion that will be more than willing to share some outrageous ideas.. thes guys can make anythng work and know wwere to get it or how to make it.. rememer any descent sub will do.. i put in a Jensen 10 inch and its fantastic run off of 250 watts.. it rated 4.5 out 5 in sub testing.. so don't think yo needa cool name to sound god.. it just a sub
