look out for anything w/ any type of modifications...u can't jus "look out" for a certain car, sorri to break it to u. if u mean STOCK vs STOCK, then once again...too many to list. 15.4 car isn't going to spank all on the road, so ur gonna get eaten up a lot, but ur gonna beat ur fair share of vic's w/ a tip also...jus go out an race. its the only way to find out wut ur car actually has...

How fast do those nissan se-r's run I just raced a car that said se-r on the back and I thought it was a nissan but I wasn't sure are they fast because the one I raced wasn't very fast.

If you're new into racing, I think any car would be good competition, provided the driver is willing to race you(and not some old 70-year old granny.. lol.. hey but u never know).
As you race more, you'll learn to launch better, when to shift to get most power, stuff like that. Most stock cars you race, the result will generally depend on driver...

Just go out and get some experience, you can never tell what people have under their hoods, I saw a guy in a stock looking 97 neon eat an RX7 with just a few mods. The reality of it that you are going to lose some races, and as long as you dont race for too much money, or with too many respectable people around, its not that bad to lose.

never mess with looking shit boxes. esp the K cars. alot of cars from the 80's looks old and ugly but are fast. the weird thing is, the fast looking car's from the 80's aren't too quick. hmmmmm

That's true I raced this guy in a BEAT UP looking Buick paint was chipping it was rusted, and he kept revving and trying to get me to go at it so I finally dropped it into 2nd and took off I was very surprised becvause the buick kept up pretty good we were dead even up to 60mph then I walked away, but the guy pulled over and we talked a little and it turned out that the car was a grand national turbo, he had made some mods, he neglected the body but tuned the engine really well.

Yea i always think neglecting the body is a bit dumb but it must go faster everyday as bits of the body fall off

I have a friend with a rusty old camaro i raced it once and i found out that its just a rusty old piece of 6 cylinder 80's junk :o

You're right, for a car to be fast it MUST look fast the exterior makes all the difference right? none of us here have ever been victim to a sleeper, you know those cars that look slow but are fast

like i said earlier. the cars from the 80's. the fast looking ones are not that fast, and the slow plain looking ones are the fast ones.
