Help with 85 MR2 won't start

The problem i am having is when i start my MR2 the car suddenly shuts off. this also happened i was driving it and it turned off. it might be the computer or something else. anyone have suggestions on what it could be. Please help i haven't driven it in about a month and a half and that's way to long.

It could be several ythings but I am inclined to consider the module igniter. Its the Integrated chip in your electronic ignition system. I had the same problem and went to a junkyard and got the whole distributor and repalced it. Good Luck!
