I do!! My dad was half French and a quarter Irish, and my mom was English and Jamaican. Maybe thats why they split up...
And I did get part of the Jamaican complection, not the irish skin.

Well, I dont really know about my history. I have it all on paper, as my parents were really into geneology. So I guess maybe I am a mutt. :) I should really look into it.

I do know my moms side is Norwegian. My dads side is from England. But as for what % I am of what, who knows :confused:

I have limited knowledge about either. We had a woman in our family several generations back that had enough time, resources, and energy to do an indepth geneological study of the Scottish side, but when she found stuff she didn't like...she burned everything. :rolleyes:

You are probably decended from rapists and bums. I met soemone who had traced back their scottish ancestors to 9 brothers, who chose their name in around 1600.

Not rapists and bums...There's royalty back there, but everything was burned when horse thieves and murderers were discovered.

and why are people saying they're part canadian?!?!??!?!?!!?! Canada was settled by Europeans (mainly british, and some french) a couple hundred years ago. Actual Canadiens (the first ones here) are indians, the native-americans, are from canada, they had to go through canada to get to the U.S. unless we're talkin the people that came from south america

So if you say you're part canadien what are you?!? Scottish, Irish, British, French, indian, spanish..... i really don't know :confused:


btw i'm part Polish part German and part Italian...... i don't have time to figure out percentages or fractions :D

Sure people can be decended from Canadians, the people in Endland didn't always live there, just like the people in Canada didn't always live here...even Indians aren't true Canadians, they came from somewhere else too....

I kinda agree with Heep, but a few hundred years is not a heck of a lot! I see north America as being a 'new' area, with everyone being able to say who they are descended from.

Perhaps, but if he's purebread, then he has much hihger likelihood (sp:rolleyes: ) of having genetic deficiencies. He could be imbreed, you never know. Plus, in dogs, anyway, mixed breeds were smarter than purebreds (on average).
So even though he's rare, he just might be worse.

A lot of Asian immigrant can't speak english very well. So I think it'll be pretty hard to communicate with other ethnic groups for them. Just like when you moved to a new foreign country you will stick with your fellow coutryman because you can communicate with them better.

I'm interested in what ways of running things and attitudes you like so much.
Stay in North America and you are more likely to be able to afford the cars that you like so much.

A family member did some research and all they found was that a distant ancestor was Mormon leader Brigham Young.

I met someone whos son went to Sweden. He is working for a computer company. He has a Harley, a Porsche Boxter, and a BMW (company car). And all those beautiful, curvy roads:) That would be nice

Strange you should say that....Sweden is EXACTLY where I've been wanting to go. I remember back like 3 years ago, I would always hang out in the #Sweden channel on IRC, and they all loved that I was Canadian...everyone was so nice
