Question

Hey all, this is my first post! i wanted to know if anyone has any experience with a 2002 Alero? (http://www.governmentauctions.org/2010/03/2002-oldsmobile-allero-holy-driver.asp)- pros, cons? thoughts?

Don't know about the 2002, but our 2001 has seen its share of problems. Transmission went at 86,000, the widespread lower intake manifold gasket problem, wheel sensor issues, ignition lock replacement, Body Control Module replacement, crappy brake rotor wear, etc, etc, etc.

When it is running well I love it, but be prepared to empty your wallet.

Agreed, not the best quality car on the road but as long as your prepared to have issues and spend money you won't be disappointed when you have to.
