I seem to have a slop in the steering wheel maybe pointing to the front end now. Im thinking bearings and some steering linkage? Don't know where to start looking.
What happens is that first thing in the morning, its colder around 40F and the steering wheel seems to slip at first. Then it stops. Just loose but not bad. Its an older car, 1994 so I expect some slop. Its the vibration that concerns me and the first start off in the morning. The slip is when I first turn the wheel when leaving it like just turns like very loose almost disconnected? Then it tightens up and seems fine. Happens only on startup early morning.
Any suggestions?
The vibration may be off balance tires or front end alignment. That happens at 60 to 65 mph and up.

For the power steering, try replacing the power steering fluid. Over time, the fluid traps dirt, and the dirt can attract moisture which can freeze....I'll be when you are having the issue, it's cold in the morning?
Vibration: Yeah, have your tires balanced. Tires can get out of balance over time. If that doesn't clear up the 65mph issue, post back.
