has anyone else heard that lightened underdrive pulleys can damage your car?

Not me. You have a ZC if I remember correctly and I just read something that said that you cant use an Si pulley. I dont really know what one you gotta use but the Si is a different diameter (i think a little smaller). The stock Si pulley is 6.03 inches. Just thought I'd throw that at you incase you dont know.

I have heard that, because underdrive pulleys weigh less, and thus have less damping ability, over time, it can cause premature wear of your crank bearings..
i dont know this for sure, but its been said..

the idea is that it will cause more stress on everything indirectly but it is in the sense that all mods will because they make ur motor work harder so it's not a great effect but it's there

im gonna use the JDM integra Hype R n1 racing pulley on my b16. its OEM honda, and it only has provisions for the alternator. its very light weight, and a lot more compact. gonna be pretty tight, plus i talked to the parts guy at work (acura dealership) and he said he could get it for me, but its gonna be a lot of trouble. i dont care, cause its genuine honda, and i know honda wouldnt make one if it messed up the motor.
