Rainy Sunday

What's everyone doing today? I'm home with the kids all day. Tinkering with the car here and there. I'm respraying my side mirrors cause the 20 yr old paint just doesn't look like it once did.

What are you doing today?

Planning on workin on the truck a little bit. Need to adjust the carb some I think to get it to idle a little better. May try and fix the intercooler pipe on the car if i get a chance. Then maybe some school work I need to do tonight.

Which coupler popped off/loose?

The one right off the turbo, the turbo is 2.5" out but im still running 2" pipe on the hot side of the intercooler till the summer and I have funds to upgrade it. So there is a reducer there and I think thats why it keeps popping off.

Got the truck fixed already, ran perfect today and didn't even have to adjust anything so idk why it wouldn't idle the other day. Also did some other maintanence things on the motor.


Little off topic: Last night we all went out for Saint pats day, started drinkin at 12 and went downtown around 630ish. Had a blast but some stupid fuck knocked a stool over when i was standing at the bar and it landed right on my damn toe. Of course I had sandles on and it started bleeding and shit. Had to limp around the rest of the night and even today I have already smashed it on so many things. Sucks balls dude

And that's why you don't wear sandals to the bars. I was working on both cars. Blew up the Talon. And did a HUGE workout at the gym today. Just finished dishes and getting ready to make dinner for the lady friend. Good times.

Yesterday I was super hungover as hell so I didn't do anything. Literally, I didn't move all day. Left the house once. Plus it was all rainy so was nice and dark to sleep all day.

If the kids weren't here with me all day, I would have done lots of sleeping. It's suppose to rain tomorrow too but Tuesday it's suppose to be nice here.

Another boring...almost rainy sunday...Whats up ppl?

Um,....just got home. Stayed with my woman last night and she had to get up and go to the job 2day so. And Im not tired so I cant go to sleep, so Im trying to keep entertained on the internet.

Just woke up at 10:30. Was at a car meet all day yesterday and then came back home and had a BBQ at my place til about 2am. Got some much needed sleep. It's cloudy but not rainy, so going to work on the car, hit the gym, and finish cleaning up around from last night. Have to finish my resume and portfolio and get those sent out to a few places today as well.

Been playin a lot of COD MW2 and browsing the internet. Ordered a Hallman RX pro MBC, tired of this little cheap one. Needed something more reliable for when I go to STM.

COD is on my list of things to do today when I'm done dong everything else. Just spent a good 3 hours polishing the compressor housing on the turbo... which makes it 5 hours total. I'm done with it. lol. No more.

It pouring rain here. Was gonna work on the truck some today but I guess not. Also pretty hungover from last night. I got a lab report I need to write but Ill probably just do it later.

Was at the track all day yesterday. Was working one of the corners coming right off the back strech. Got a good bit of action there. Uploading pics now also.

Motor is coming out of the eclipse this week, possibly thursday and going to fix some things on it, change the clutch and take out the ac.

Got all but one leak fixed, damn seal at the jpipe is not tight enough. The head of the bolt is right against the j pipe itself so I can't turn the bolt it's that tight. Done for the day with that. Can't wait for MBC and it even looks sexy.

More maintanence work. Changing plugs, wires, need to degrease the tranny and try and figure out where its leaking from. Also the AC doesn't work so I bought an oring kit for the ac lines. Going to change those and convert the system over to R-134a and see if it will start working again.

I put together the painted parts of the intake, and got all the sensors back in, I must say, I did a damn good job lol. Its a shame it'll just get dirty again though after a while. Going to the machine shop today to give the guy some money...that's about it. Maybe hit up some halo..

Take the pipe off and knock a dent in it with a hammer.

It is now. So i wont have to clean it again...the outer housing will prob get dirty though

Most of the day is over but damn has this been a boring day. When the old lady gets home I plan to try and fix my fuel trim in dos DSM.

Man, it got sooo rough here yesterday, I was on my way home from lowes. I got somthing accomplished though. I made a MBC for my buddies SRT4...and it worked. But then I went to my old lady's house and she was ill and apparently in a bad mood. She was fussin at me over some dumb stuff (shes usually not like that), so I left and she got pissed and she probably isnt going to talk to me today, but whatever.

That's crazy man. I never messed with the car yesterday but tomorrow I plan to.

Ahhh... was a great weekend.

Friday was my 25th bday so I got one of my accounts from work to host a little thing. Took a limo with 8 other people up there. Had about 20 people total show up, so it stayed small but was great times. Had a $30 braclet for 4 hours of AYCD. Wasn't super smashed, but was feeling good. Sadly, this one girl there got her purse stolen and then blamed everyone on the ride home. She kind of killed the buzz.

Saturday, my girl came over early and we made breakfast and then had some people over at night for some bags.

Sunday the family came over for a little bit, then went to the movies with the girl again. Then to her place to BBQ with her family. Then just chilled at my place. Was a great weekend.

My boy did an AutoX with the IS300 for the first time ever. Was supposed to go there to record it, but had no will.
