bleeding brakes alone

the only way i know how to bleed brakes require 2 people, one pushing and releasing the brake pedal while the other loosens and tightens the valve on the caliper. i tried doing it myself once with a piece of pipe. i used it against the seat to hold the brake pedal down, but since my seats arent rock solid, the break pedal would release just a little.

so is it possible to do this alone, and if so, how?

For one man brake bleeding you'll need a hand vacuum pump and brake bleeder kit. Heres one from Actron but many other brands available. See link.

Its cheaper just to use two people. My wife helps me when I do mine.
