Hello all. I just traded the 99 GP GT in for an 06 GP. I want to remove the front license plate bracket. Here in PA they are not required. There are 3 small rivets holding it to the front bumper cover. I guess I can just drill them out. Has anyone done this? What should I cover the holes with? Any ideas are appreciated.

Why not leave it on and just put on a custom license plate filler of your choice. Does state law require that you have nothing on the front bumper?

State law does not require it has to come off. I was just thinking it may be easier to remove it and plug the 3 small holes than put on a front plate. I was looking around at some plates but nothing strikes me as being cool for the front of my GP. Have you come across anyone plugging the holes after they removed it?
Thank you for the response BNaylor.

You're welcome. Good question. Rubber plugs? :dunno:
Personally I'd have a Pro at a body/paint shop look at it and see what they could do for a reasonable cost.
