2004 Astro wont start in damp weather

I have a 2004 Astro van that will not start when left outside overnight in damp weather. The codes that show up with a scanner are related to the security system. I have also noticed that when this happens, the door locks dont work properly. How can I disable the security system? It is a factory security system with remote door locks.

I have also been told that replacing the Body Control Module should fix the problem. Is this true? I would rather just disable the security system if possible.
