When checking for codes are you using a transmission capable ss reader or the regular OBDII reader?

When you changed the torque converter did you also change the transmission filter??

Would be best if you could have the tranny codes by someone with a tranny capable scanner. This will help find out where to start.

How did you determine that it was the converter that needed to be replaced to start with??

When you changed the filter was there any metal pieces in the pan and on the magnet??

I would check with a tranny place to get the codes read, unless you know someone that has a reader with the capablilty.
