My 91 t-bird lx 5.0 ho seems to start and idle fine, until i get to a stop thens dies when the accelerator is pressed. Will start back up about 2 min later, i kept revin it until it got completely warm then ran like a champ. Battery light flashes on off going to replace it tomorrow. Just put all new spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, Oil and filter still does it. Doent seem like the battery could do this any ideas?

That’s a tough one.
If the car’s transmission is equipped with a lockup torque converter. the solenoid which locks up the converter, could malfunction, causing the converter to "lock-up" at times.
It isn't supposed to do that, if you slow to a stop, does the car begin to jerk and finally stall?
A quick fix is to unplug the electrical connector controlling the converter from the side of the transmission. Fixing it the right way would be to have a transmission shop replace the solenoid and/or unstick the valve that operates it.
It could also be a fuel starvation issue. Check fuel filters, there may be more one.
Also check your fuel pump. Is your ignition coil overheating? if excessive check ignition system.
Might as well check for any vacuum leaks while your at it.
