'97 Dakota crank sensor location

Where exactly should I look for the crank position sensor on my '97 Dakota, and what is the best approach to r&r? 2WD, V6, Auto.

3.9L V6? If so it should be behind the cylinder head on the passenger side of the truck. it sticks down into the bell of the transmission.
