By painting the interior of my car (96 civic ex, 130k milles) would that take the value of it down at all? for if i ever sell the car i just want to if it would take down my price. thanks!

ANY mod reduces resale value. I wouldn't worry about that too much, so long as it can be undone.

if you do a good job then it prolly won't devalue it too much, but if it looks like sh*t then that won't your going ot get in return.

MANY, MANY light coats.
I painted guage bezel and vents in my integra and did like 11 coats of red. the first coat, you could barely se it was painted, but it ended up looking very good. a freind painted stuff in his hatch and did a thick coat first time, and the paint tends to gather itself in spots and leave others so you can see spots of the black through the paint and many, many highs/lows, looks like SH!T. and then painting another coat over something like that doesnt fix it, dont know why, but for me at least, when i tried it that way once, every added coat just painted the already painted the painted spot, but no paint ever got to the lows. ??? since my integra Ive painted lots in my mustang and used the same technique and got excellent results in the stang as well.
Good luck.
and oh yeah, Id say, just black with orange highlights, that's gonna look good in an orange car.

You'll never ever get your money back from mods on a car. No ones gonna pay you for the work you've done to you car unless its exceptionally well done and the person your selling it too is willing to pay you for what you've done to it. Trust me I have probably $10,000 dollars in my car and I'd never be able to sell it for that much. Who's gonna buy a 92 civic for $10,000??? Even if its it bad ass, so my advice is, if your worried about loosing money this hobby isn't worth it trust me I know. Only do it if you really like doing it

im not worryed about puting money into it, i would dont have a problem with that, its the part that would i loose a lot on the selling on it. im not thinking that im going to get more because i painted the inside or did some stuff to the engine. thats all. so a lot of light coats you say? thanks!

people that sell cars around here just post the pics. and the specs on local racing forums and get really good money for their cars. If you can find the right buyer he'll actually pay more
