2000 Safari Flooding Issue

Hi,
First let me say thanks for any and all help. I just joined and have spent a little time reading about similar issues to what I am having but I haven't found my exact problem. I have an 00 Safari that I began to have issues with this winter. Once in a while, it would crank but not start. Yesterday, my daughter tried to start it but no luck. It cranks fine. It has spark and is getting fuel. I believe it is getting too much fuel at startup but I am unsure. On the surface this sounds like the classic fuel pump pressure issue and it might be but I am not convinced yet and unwilling to spend $250 on a new pump until I am sure.
After reading through the forums, I pulled a spark plug out to check it for spark and it was dripping of fuel. I also checked the fuel pressure and it seems to be adequate. (60/61 peak and 57 or so resting) It has spark although I am not sure if it is weak. I checked the spark using the one removed spark plug and it looked yellow to me, not bright blue like my memory tells me it should be. I also checked the compression on the cylinder I took the plug out of and it was about 150 which seems a little high to me but I am not 100% sure of that either. Regardless that should be plenty enough compression to start. I guess I am not sure what to do next.
I am going to change the spark plugs today along with cap and rotor and fuel filter. It has 225,000 miles on it and I put 40,000/yr on it still, mostly in the warm months. I don't like driving it during bad weather. It doesn't get around all that good even with 2000# of satellite equipment in the back. It is in very good condition and has had every necessary repair done to it since I have owned it. I don't normally work on it but business has been really slow the last couple of months so I am going to try.

Sounds like the coil is shot if you are getting that weak of a spark.
