Front bumper rubber strip

I need to know what that long black rubber peice that runs along the front of the bumper is called and if anyone knows where i can get one. half of mine broke off, im sure someone has replaced theirs at some point.

They are probably discontinued from GM.
If you call a dealer, they can tell you if there might be one available from another dealer that has some left overs.

I just found a source for these.
They also have other hard to find body parts for our Boxy Caprices.
Download the catalog, page 421 of the body components section has the bumper strips for your car. They also have new bumpers without the holes for the bumper strip.
This source was a great find. :)

I have never bought anything from that site, just used it for reference.
They do not even have a phone# to call to check availability just email address. What would you do if you had to return something?
Since finding out about Classic Industries, I would buy from them instead. They are local for me so I could pick up parts in person. :smokin:
