93 Geo Metro 3cyl

We recently acquired a 93 metro..doing some work on it and have run into a problem. We replaced the timing belt, water pump and the crank and cam seals due to a bad oil leak. Now, when we insert the key, the lights come on, but it doesn't engage to start. Is it just a blown fuse..do we have the 3 wires hooked up wrong? Help! We need to start driving this thing to save a ton of money! Thanks:p

Maybe neutral safety switch. Auto or stick? Push in clutch or hold into park? Starter solenoid? Check connections on starter. Probably not a fuse.
