Purple looking front windshields

I have noticed several Ventures seem to have a purplish tint color in the front windshield. Is this something that happens over a period of time or is it the sign that the original windshield has been replaced with an aftermarket windshield?

I am asking because I have a cracked windshield and do not want to end up with one that looks like this after I get it replaced. My 1998's windshield shows no sign of discoloration.

The windshiels have a slight tint in them but the purple tint you see is due to the angle of the sun's rays making contact.
