Opinions wanted!

Ok heres my situation...I got a set of 89 Si bumpers. Should I put them on my 88 dx hatch and go all out sleeper? Or should I sell these and save for a body kit? I got 670bucks on the way. Also how much does a good b20 cost? And if I turbo'd one how much money would it take?

ummm....aren't si and dx bumpers the same? aren't they both just painted bumpers?

nope, a lot of dx's have gray bumpers.

i'd put the bumpers on if they match for now, then if you find a body kit you really like, get it and then sell em..

oh, i thought all DX's had color matched bumpers, well I guess I just learned something. I just thought the STD's had black/grey bumpers.

i think the newer dx's 90-91 it was and option for paint, i see em with colormatched bumpers a lot..

I'm pretty sure that only in 91 did the DXs come with colour matched bumpers.

mines an 89 dx.. the bumpers are painted.

maybe the previous owner did it cause theres no paint above the bumpstrip? but i've seen other 88-89 dx's painted the same, so it may be factory afterall.

must have just been the hatches, cause I know a couple of people with 91 dx 4 doors and they all have black bumpers ... whatever, learn something every day.

yeah my sedan had black bumpers and i seen another one with black bumpers also. the only ones i've seen color matched are the lx or ex i think. one of those or both:bloated: :bloated: i dont know im lost.

anyway, going back to the subject, I reckon u should sell the bumpers and save up for a kit IMO, but its up to you really
