Vents

Well today when I got home from the Maple Grove meet, I decided that I would paint my vents. This isnt the greatest job in the world, but its something I can learn from. Here are the pics:

I did the other vent but you cant really make it out. I was going to go with silver, but I decided on red, and yes that is red my digi cam just really sucks.

But like I said, its not the greatest job in the world, kinda has bubbles in it, but it looks good if you just walk by it.

And yea ill paint the rest of the middle one later.

i guess i and the rest of the people here with rice comments should keep them to themselves out of respect.

if you like it man, then go for it.

it doesnt bother me. I know what i like, and thats pretty much all that matters. but i am always open to ideas and comments.

I was gonna go with silver, but changed my mind.
I'm gonna take them out again maybe tomorrow, sand them down, and spray them again to get rid of the lumps and make it look a little bit smoother.

I painted some of my stuff one time ... never again, it was the worst thing EVER!! I ended up going and getting new parts at the junkyard.

ha ha i like it becasue it sets the car off in the inside now.

Inside im gonna go with Black, silver, and red. The outside im gonna do Black and Red since my car isnt really a performance car, so i might as well do it for looks.

im gonna be doing that with vents too. As a matter of fact, im thinkin and drawing out all my ideas makin designs for door panels and etc.. but im doing my vents from that burgandy color, to black.. but im thinkin bout white.. but would that get all dirty since airs always blowin out ? cuz im gonna get them lil bright lights ( red ) in my vents and when its dark, its gonna shine out really cool. ( the kind like on EBAY , u see them in vents.. its perdy flashy )
- and im changin the burgandy lil' plastic things around the lock of the door to black and changin the lock stick thing from burgandy to red. ;)

i like my interior, the painted red turned out exellent, no bubbles or anything. i painted pretty much everything u can take out of ur dash and doors.

i just took out my vents, and the door handle dips on the inside, front and back, sanded them down and painted again, now they are on the back porch chillin.

Dang. And I thought this was the thread for everyone to vent their frustrations.
