hi guys !!!

here i will show you my first thread and model in the forum.

it comes from revell usa:

http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/25/799325/3434326637386263.jpg

i wants to built this boss stock, but after looking the tires and the rimes i have work with other tires and rims. the tires from the kit are on the rear axle to small but on the front side to wide for me. so i made resin tires form a other kit and made aluminum rims for the rear axle.

this is the stance now:

http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/25/799325/3832303436366536.jpg

next step is to do also aluminum rims for the front axle on my late.

hi guys !!!

the next step on the boss, was the painting. after working with mr mark softer on the decals by the coling the decals are torn

the other decals on the cap i do without the mark softer and works good.

so next time i must look for new decals to make the coling new.

I hate to tell you, that motor won't fit under the hood without the use of the hood scoop that came in the kit. To fit that motor in there, you will have to cut a hole in the hood. I found this out at what appears to be the same time as you...but my chassis and interior didn't look NEARLY as good as yours. haha

hi rsxse240 !

you have right with the air cleaner the motor is to big for this hood, but without this it´s fit very well;-)))

I ended up modifying the carbs slightly or removed them, I can't remember. Then I used a cobra style long oval air filter and it fit nicely.

Excellent work, it looks fantastic so far. I think it actually looks better without the rear window slats, I always thought they looked a bit rubbish like a cheap imitation of a Lamborghini Muira rear window. I remember Ford Capri's having them as options here in the UK in the 1970's too! I think it looks nice as it is without the rear spoiler too.

hi modellers !!!

last days i find a little time to work on the boss. so i can finished the cap and get it together.

little parts are to do now on the cab, for example the radio antenna. i can see on the fotos, that i have to do more work on the rear.

here i can show you indoor fotoshoots, the outdoor fotos must wait when the snow is going.

the next step to do is motor in the next weeks.

Some parts are made without original template, but for me looks better so.

I hope you like it?

Amazing model, congratulations!

A fill questions:

How did you paint it? Spray can or airbrush?

Whats is the reference for the yellow you used for the painting job?

Thanks.

hi !

sorry for the long time for my answer to your questions.

the tires i made with resin and brushed them with tamiya rubber black.

the paintjob is done by airbrush and my only references are from the internet and the us car meetings here in austria.
