1/24 Revell Ferrari F2003GA

This is something I have built several years ago.

I recently bought new "lens" and took some several pictures of it.

The kit was very nice to build, I modified the wing setup and exhaust outlets. And added small P/E parts here and there to add some detail. Unfortunately, I never detailed the lug nuts and therefore they are missing! :frown:

One of these days, I will find something to scratch build.

Revell has produced many F1 kits lately and I am dying to try them out.

My next build would be either Sauber BMW F1 or MP4/20. I think with some work, 1/24 scale F1 kits are pleasant to work with.

I think with some work, 1/24 scale F1 kits are pleasant to work with.

What colour and clear are you using? I like this siny but not "glassy" finish...

Thanks for the kind words. The kit really does build nicely and with the Cartograf decals supplied in the kit, you really cannot go wrong.

It has been awhile to remember it exact, but I believe I customer mix the body color and then used multiple coats of acrylic clear.

The shine was stronger when the kit was just completed, but after several years the shine died down naturally...

I guess I need a wax job! :)
