97 explorer chirping sound

my 97 is making a chirping sound after it warms up coming from the driver side of engine. I have the 4 liter v-6. It sounds like it is above the valve cover. I have determined that the sound is not coming from the serpentine belt. Does anyone know what this might be?

Possibly a camshaft sensor or the camshaft syncronizer.
