99 contour 2.0 wont camshaft position sensor?

99 contour 2.0 checked no fire and fuel pump is not running could it be the camshaft position sensor? it has a new fuel pump and i was told it has a new pcm going to hook it to the obd ii code reader tomorrow . went back and checked found pcm dsconnected. fuel pump works and its getting fire but wont start, tries to start , checked timing belt looks good fuel pressure s about 37 ps when key is on did ohm check on cam pos sensor it was within specs dont know why it wont start.went back and checked ignition coil found it was bad and replaced , car started right up
