Out of all the posts that i have seen on here, I have not been able to find anything what so ever about the ladies and gentlemen that fight and work for this great country. I'm talking about the people over seas fighting a war that someone else started, I'm sure im gonna ruffle some feathers by doing this, but ya know what i don't care, if i make a few people mad by saying thanks, oh well. I myself just started the process of joining a volunteer fire department. So here it is, Thanks very much to everybody that is fighting for this country. It wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for you. I don't dare leave out fire fighters and police officers, you to work your a**es off to help keep this country safe. If you read this and any of these fields apply to you, let everyone know. If you have family or friends in the armed forces speak up cause they deserve a huge THANKS.

First, good for you for being a volunteer firefighter. That shows admirable, selfless dedication on your part to your community.

Before you start accusing anybody here of anything, take a look at your first post. You specifically asked for a response from firefighters/police/ soldiers, or their family/friends.

. If you read this and any of these fields apply to you, let everyone know. If you have family or friends in the armed forces speak up cause they deserve a huge THANKS. Maybe nobody here fits in that category, so nobody replied.

I care and appreciate a great deal about these professionals because our society obviously depends on them.

But because neither me nor my family/close friends are employed in these jobs, my input does not fall within the frame of your thread. Therefore I specifically did not reply to your thread.

So, before you get huffy, look at your post. If you wanted a different kind of response, write a different kind of thread. :)

I have to agree with you it didn't come out the way i had planned. I meant for this to be a thread for anybody to say thanks and post there opinions of our volunteers, not just people in a certain group. So hows this sound, let this post be used for thanks. If your one of them Thanks, if your not a volunteer for this country, still feel free to speak up and let them hear how ya feel.
