89 clutch replace? Hard?

I have an '89 PU 4x4 6 cyl (ext. cab, SR5). 160k miles.

As far as I remember, it has the original clutch. It bucks, like the springs in the clutch are gone. But, other than that it seems to work ok.

I have some free time and was considering replacing it. Questions:

- Is that a fairly simple job?
- One man job?
- Any gotcha's, like difficulty aligning the spline when putting the transmission back on?
- I have the Toyota service manuals. Is it really as complicated as described therein? (Remove fan shroud, motor mount, jack up engine, etc.)
- Are there other manuals that illustrate the procedure better/easier?

I have lots of tools, and some experience (I've rebuilt a couple engines 20 years ago.). I have a motorcycle jack which I suppose could be used to position the transmission.

My concern is getting in a jam where I can't get it back together.

Thanks.
