1996 Grand Am Keyless Remote part# & Programming

My friend has a 1996 Grand Am with power locks. I have a bucket full of keyless remotes and she'd like me to program one for her. Does anyone know the part # of the one she needs and teh procedure for programming it? The info I got off this forum worked like a charm for my 97 & 99 Bonneville and my 99 Grand Prix. Hopefully I can hook her up with your assistance. Thanks much in advance. :smoka:

GM Part number is 12522339 or 10097895.
Though not all transmitters had the GM numbers on the back of them.
The reason for two numbers is the 12522339 is the supersession number.

Thanks for the part numbers. Unfortunately I do not have the correct ones, but now I can keep my eye out for it when I scrounge the salvage yard. :D
