Ive got a 2002 Grand Prix GTP Supercharged (3.8L) and I'm looking to make my car sound loud. I don't really want to get a glass pack because I really don't care for that type of sound. Im planning on going true dual cat-back with 2.5 inch pipping. What type of mufflers should I get to get the most volume with sacrificing little/no quality?

Have you done Youtube searches to see what brands sound like what on our cars?

That is going to be your best bet.

I will probably end up going with Flowmaster original 40 series mufflers then

Dont go true dual on a V6 man, just my :2cents:

go with a good catback system. You can still get the SLP system which IMO sounds pretty good http://www.lmperformance.com/5849/12.html

or Borla sounds pretty decent http://www.lmperformance.com/7035/12.html

I dont know what kind of "loud" you are going for. I like to have more of a "growl" then to be loud. If your going for loud, then just Cam it and get an electric cutout :p

If you want loud just remove (delete) the resonator.

i have a res and ubend delete on my GT. IMO it doesnt sound too bad. of course doesnt sound anywhere near a V8 :headshake

I've been looking around for headers though. Waiting to see a good deal for some that wont be a bi*ch to fit right. I'm sure that will make a little difference
