2001 montana will not crank

i went out to crank my van the other day it would not start. the next day i checked the fuses and the battery cable. I turned the ignition and it cranked. today i went to leave in it and it will not crank. it turns over but will not crank. it almost sounds like the fuel pump but you can hear it kick on. i am about to drive myself crazy trying to figure out what it could be. if anyone has an answer please let me know

Do you mean it will not start? Will not crank means it doesn't even turn over. You have to make sure you have fuel and spark when it won't start. Whichever one is missing is the culprit. A simple shot of carb cleaner in the intake when it won't start will tell you if it is fuel related or spark.
