new tires

hey all, quick question ...... my monty stock tire size is 225/60/16. i want to put 225/55/16 on. i found a set of kumho with a w speed index, and figured that the lower profile would spruse up my handeling. but in doing so i change the spedo and gear raito 3.3 %. aside from speed and fuel milage should i be concerned with the change in gear raito? thanks, dave.
