There are many that can build a model well. It's not all that can pull one from the grave and resurect it however !
Nice save and the results are looking great. I hope you show us the finished product .

haha actually this is a practice I actually just started. You just get a container, fill it with some brake fluid enough to submerge the part, and let it sit for a few days. I pulled my pieces out about ever 3 days and scrubbed it with a toothbrush to help aid the stripping. Just dont forget about your pieces and let them sit TOO long or the plastic will get weak

I'd like to make the engine bay look more realistic. Could anyone give me any tips on how to acquire that realistic DUB engine look? thanks

lil update.
got the carb lines formed
http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo262/wolf9599/model%20stuff/67carblines.jpg
cut out door and trunk
http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo262/wolf9599/model%20stuff/67chopped.jpg
cuttin out the trunk left me with some unwanted space so I had to fill it in.

Zombie Camaro FTW! One thought/suggestion. Get different wheels. Maybe a set of pegasus torque 5 spoke wheels.

Title corrected,
Nice save. I second for different rims unless you are going for the cruiser look? If so, maybe shave the roof a bit. :2cents:

I know alot of guys that made models that were no better, and those were not their first efforts, (me included back in the day), lol.
I like how you are dealing with the engine, looking forward to how you make the door jams and all the extra detailing. Good work so far.

Thanks for the title correction. I got the rims from an old model cuz they were free. I've dumped enough money into these models in the past few months and I'm just gonna use what I have for now. maybe I'll pick up another set later. thanks for the suggestions though
no new updates.... been workin on another model and been busy with school, etc... :(
